These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Transloop platform and services provided by Transloop ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") accessible via transloop.co.in. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Transloop platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Transloop provides AI-powered translation and localization services through a web-based platform and API. Our services include real-time text translation across 120+ languages, batch document translation, translation memory and glossary management, API access for programmatic integration, and team collaboration tools.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Transloop to translate content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes upon intellectual property rights; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble our AI models; exceed your plan's usage limits or circumvent rate-limiting mechanisms; use the service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations; or share your API keys or account access with unauthorized parties.

5. Subscription Plans & Payment

Transloop offers tiered subscription plans (Starter, Professional, Enterprise). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase. Unused characters or features do not roll over between billing periods.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to content you submit for translation. Transloop retains all rights to its platform, technology, AI models, and proprietary algorithms. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing translation services. We do not use your content to train our models unless you explicitly opt in.

7. Service Level & Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our services. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, force majeure events, or third-party service failures.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Transloop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Transloop and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the services or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the services will cease immediately, and we may delete your account data after a 30-day grace period.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
